Jennifer Cheng
General Counsel APAC, Head of APAC Corporate Secretary - UBS AG
Jennifer Cheng is currently the General Counsel APAC and Head of APAC Corporate Secretary at UBS AG. With over two decades of experience in the legal field, Jennifer has held various senior positions at leading financial institutions. She joined UBS AG in 2017, and had served as Head of Legal Asset Management APAC and Head of Legal Global Wealth Management APAC in consecutive periods. Prior to UBS AG, Jennifer was the Head of Legal, Asia for J.P. Morgan Asset Management; and held legal roles at Allianz Global Investors and Clifford Chance LLP.
Jennifer is a qualified lawyer in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, as well as in England and Wales. She has also passed the PRC Greater Bay Area Lawyer Examination in 2024-2025. Jennifer holds a degree in Law and Economics from the University of Kent, United Kingdom. She is based in Hong Kong and has worked in London.
Paul Chow
Group General Counsel, Group Chief Sustainability Officer - Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX)
Mr Paul Chow is Group General Counsel and Group Chief Sustainability Officer at HKEX and is a member of its Management Committee.
Prior to joining HKEX in 2021, Mr Chow worked at Cathay Pacific Airways where he was Group General Counsel and Company Secretary. Before working in-house, he was a partner at Davis Polk Wardwell LLP, Linklaters and Slaughter and May.
Outside of HKEX, he is a member of the Supervisory Committee of Tracker Fund of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong SAR Government's Standing Committee on Company Law Reform, Funds Management Sub- Committee of the Hong Kong Housing Authority, Resolvability Review Tribunal and Standing Committee on Compliance of the Law Society of Hong Kong.
Mr Chow holds a Bachelor of Laws from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Master of Science in Global Business from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Stephen Lam
General Counsel - SoftBank Group International.
Stephen Lam is General Counsel of SoftBank Group International. Stephen leads a global legal team comprised of over forty professionals based in Asia, the Americas and Europe and works closely with SoftBank’s senior leadership, investment and functional teams to structure, negotiate and execute strategic investments, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic initiatives across SoftBank Group, including through SoftBank’s Vision Funds. Before joining SoftBank, Stephen practiced law at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York and Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. He graduated from Harvard Law School and Georgetown University and speaks Chinese, Japanese and Arabic.
Nuraliza Osman
General Counsel and Company Secretary
Nuraliza oversees legal, ethics and compliance as well corporate secretarial affairs within a global industrial group headquartered in Singapore and also serves as Company Secretary. She is an attorney qualified in Singapore and New York with more than 25 years of international experience in the energy industry, with roles in an international oil and gas major and a listed company in Singapore, London, The Netherlands and West Africa.
Over the course of her career, Nuraliza has built deep expertise across the energy and projects value chain garnered through in country roles in difficult operating environments across the world.
While she commenced her career in commercial litigation at leading Singapore law firms, Messrs Rajah & Tann and Messrs Tan Kok Quan Partnership, working alongside senior counsels of the Singapore bar, she developed her passion and depth in the sector as part of legal teams advising on the construction and establishment of complex large-scale petrochemical and refinery projects as well as upstream and LNG joint ventures with governments and major players. She also learned about the various aspects of the complex energy value chain by providing day to day advice on challenging issues relating to investment protection risks, navigating significant ethics and compliance challenges in opaque countries and advising on emerging regulatory changes as the energy transition progressed.
She had the privilege of being part of the dynamic changes in the industry across Asia firstly as the Asian head of a specialist energy M&A team in an international oil and gas company led the advice on multi-billion dollar transactions in high-risk countries and thereafter as General Counsel of a large industrial group listed on the Singapore stock exchange leading the energy transition in the Asia-Pacific region.
She continues to serve as a director of the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Singapore where she has been a volunteer since its inception in 2000.
She was also nominated by GIC Private Limited as one of 10 leading female leaders making a difference and by the Law Society of Singapore as a notable Young Lawyer.
Nuraliza holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from National University of Singapore.
Jackson Pek
Chief Corporate & Legal Affairs Officer and member of the Executive Committee - Amadeus
Jackson began his professional career as an attorney at the law firms White & Case and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in the U.S and Asia, and more recently was a senior attorney at IBM handling legal matters for the ASEAN countries and South Asia.
After joining Amadeus in 2006 and serving as General Counsel of its Asia Pacific region for 12 years, Jackson joined the AirAsia Group as Chief Legal Officer, overseeing the legal activities of its nine operating airlines and serving on the group’s Senior Management Committee. He returned to Amadeus in 2020 in charge of commercial and transactional legal matters globally, before being appointed Senior Vice President & General Counsel in 2022.
In addition to his work as a lawyer, Jackson has lectured at various universities in Asia, most notably the National University of Singapore Law School, where he served on the faculty for two years. A U.S. citizen, Jackson holds business and law degrees from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and from New York University School of Law.
Anna Suchopar

Anna is General Counsel and C-Suite member at Agoda, an online travel agency part of global travel group Booking Holdings Inc., the world’s leading provider of online travel and related services. She lives in Bangkok with her husband and daughter.
Prior to Agoda, Anna spent nearly 10 years of her career at the London-based global online fashion retailer ASOS.com, most recently as General Counsel & Company Secretary, leading ASOS’ Legal & Governance function.
Anna joined ASOS from Virgin Group, where she was IP Manager in Richard Branson’s brand management company, based in Geneva. She trained and qualified as a UK solicitor at Taylor Wessing LLP, practicing in TW’s market-leading Intellectual Property & Media Team.
Kwong Weng Wan
Group Chief Corporate Officer & Group General Counsel - Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd
Apart from being a long-serving Board member and Vice-President of SCCA, Kwong Weng serves as the Co-Chair for SCCA’s Real Estate Chapter.
Kwong Weng is also the Group Chief Corporate Officer and Group General Counsel of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd, a real estate development and capital manager headquartered in Singapore. He takes charge of all legal, compliance and corporate secretarial matters as well as oversees all of administration, corporate communications, human resource and sustainability functions.
Mr Wan is called to the Singapore Bar, where he was awarded the Justice FA Chua Memorial Prize, and is also on the Rolls of Solicitors (England & Wales). He was conferred the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2012 and Public Service Star (BBM) in 2017.
Mr Wan is also appointed as a Member of the Valuation Review Board and the Corporate Law Advisory Panel since 2019. In addition, he is Secretary/Member of the SMU Advisory Board for the Real Estate Programme.
Mr Wan is also appointed as a Member of the Reform of Legal Education Standing Committee and, since, 2019, the Valuation Review Board as well as the Corporate Law Advisory Panel.
Di Yao
Head of Legal - Google, Shanghai
Di Yao is currently the Head of Legal at Google’s Shanghai office.
He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors at American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. Prior to his current role, he served as the APAC Head of Legal and Business Development for GoPro and was a Managing Associate at King & Wood Mallesons. He received a Bachelor of Laws from Shanghai International Studies University Law School, a Master of Laws from Stanford Law School, and a joint Master’s degree in Humanitarian Law from Peking University Law School and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.
