Melissa Gyure is the Director of Pricing at Paul Hastings LLP, where she leads the firm’s strategic pricing initiatives. Since joining the firm in January 2024, she has been responsible for designing innovative pricing structures, overseeing matter setup and pricing strategy implementation, and collaborating closely with partners and clients to drive value-based fee arrangements. Her role supports the firm’s focus on client service excellence, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Prior to Paul Hastings, Melissa was the Executive Director of Outside Counsel Value Management at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where she led a global team supporting over 1,600 attorneys across 64 legal practice groups and seven lines of business. She was responsible for law firm rate negotiations, RFPs, and non-hourly billing arrangements.

Melissa also served as Senior Manager of Legal Pricing and Project Management at Perkins Coie LLP, where she led a client-facing project management team and collaborated with financial planning teams to standardize client reporting and manage strategic pricing.

Earlier in her career, she spent a decade at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP in various roles spanning practice management and strategic pricing, working closely with the Litigation and Financial Restructuring groups to deliver profitability insights and pricing strategies
