2026 Legalweek Security Statement
The safety and well-being of all Legalweek attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and staff is our highest priority. We are actively monitoring the ongoing military operations in the Middle East and the elevated threat environment they have produced. We take these developments seriously and have implemented a comprehensive security plan in full coordination with the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
On-Site Security Measures
- Increased security personnel stationed throughout all event spaces and common areas.
- Increased NYPD and New York State Police patrols throughout the Javits Center and surrounding areas.
- Active social media monitoring and threat scrubbing to identify and assess potential risks.
- Mandatory badge check and credential verification at all entry points.
- First aid station and medical personnel located on the 2nd Floor and 5th Floor.
- Real-time security alerts will be communicated to attendees via the Javits Center emergency system and the Legalweek app.
We will adjust our security posture as needed in response to geopolitical developments and other emerging factors. Please report any suspicious persons, packages, or behavior immediately to on-site security or the nearest Legalweek staff member.
