Hailing from Yorkshire, Maisie Adam is a young comedian having only started on the circuit in 2016. Over the last five years she has quickly won praise up and down the country with her anecdotal material and self-deprecating charm.
Her first stand-up show, "Living On The Edge" was previewed at the Ickley Fringe. Maisie then took this into a tour across the UK. The show was nominated for Best New Comedy at the 2017 Brighton Fringe after receiving positive reviews from runs at Bath Comedy Festival, Hasting Fringe Comedy Festival, Southend Fringe and Guildford Fringe.
After this, she then won the Nationwide competition "So You Think You’re Funny?" at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
She currently continues to perform stand up whilst appearing on panel shows on TV, guesting on shows such as Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You, QI, Roast Battle, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Hypothetical and The Stand-Up Sketch Show.
Maisie has also written and starred in Life Lessons (BBC3) and currently hosts the podcast “That’s A First” alongside comedian Tom Lucy. In 2021 she was the narrator of ITV’s new dating show “The Cabins”.
Recently she co-hosted a virtual event with Josh Widdicombe to great acclaim.
