Terra Potter is General Counsel at Dalberg Advisors, a global management consulting firm that puts impact at the centre of decision making for governments, foundations, multilateral institutions and private sector clients across 140+ countries, where she is building the firm's first global legal function across 13+ jurisdictions.
She previously spent five years as General Counsel, EMEA/AP & Industrial at Hexcel Corporation, a NYSE listed advanced composites manufacturer serving the aerospace, defence and industrial sectors, where she also served as Regional Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary. Earlier in her career, Terra held senior in-house roles at DNV GL, including Head of Legal for its global renewable energy business and, before that, sole legal counsel for its Asia-Pacific operations, based in Kuala Lumpur. She trained and qualified as a solicitor at Ince & Co LLP, specialising in energy and offshore disputes.
Terra has been recognised in the GC Powerlist UK for five consecutive editions and in The Lawyer's Hot 100. She is a regular speaker and commentator on corporate governance, ethical and human-led leadership in the age of AI, and driving change within the legal profession.
