Duc V. Trang
Duc Trang is Managing Director of Landon Advisory Services, and has a unique combination of experience as
general counsel, attorney with global law firms, business leader, educator, executive coach, consultant, and
author. Duc brings over 25 years of experience as both a legal service provider and a client to his consultancy
and coaching activities. Duc has worked in the United States, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Duc previously was Vice President at Motorola Solutions, Inc. (Motorola), where he held two roles. As general
counsel for the Asia Pacific & Middle East regions, Duc led a team of legal professionals located in Singapore,
Beijing, New Delhi, Kuala Lumpur, Melbourne, Tokyo and Dubai. In addition to the geographic-based legal role,
Duc was the global general counsel of Motorola’s Solutions & Services business division and managed a cross-
functional team located in North America, Europe and Asia helping to develop Motorola’s new offerings. Duc also
previously held a business leadership role as Motorola’s Country Manager for Vietnam. Before Motorola, Duc was
senior attorney at IBM, Inc.
Prior to his in-house career, Duc was in private practice in California (with DLA Piper, formerly Gray Cary),
specializing in corporate finance in the technology sector. Duc also worked with White & Case LLP in Hanoi, Ho
Chi Minh City and Bangkok, representing clients in the areas of foreign investment, infrastructure development,
project finance, corporate law, intellectual property, debt restructurings and banking and finance transactions.
Duc started his legal career as the Executive Director of the Constitutional & Legislative Policy Institute (Soros
Foundation/Open Society Institute) in Budapest, Hungary, where he designed and carried out law reform
projects in the areas of constitutional and legislative drafting, human rights, judicial reform and legal education
reform in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. At that time, Duc also served as Adjunct Professor of
Law at the Central European University.
Duc lectures frequently in the following areas: the business of law, strategy, leadership, transformation and
change management, compliance, and anti-corruption, and has published in the areas of constitutional courts,
human rights, corruption, telecommunication regulations, and foreign investments in Vietnam. Duc book, The
Architecture of Deals: Strategies for Transactional Lawyering, was published in January 2019. Duc previously
served as Adjunct Professor of Law at the National University of Singapore, where he taught Transactional
Lawyering: Architecting Deals.
 
Dr Kristina Hallett
Dr. Kristina Hallett is a board certified specialist in clinical psychology and a Fellow of the American Academy of
Clinical Psychology. She is currently an Associate Professor in Graduate Psychology and the Director of Clinical
Training at Bay Path University.
She has a private practice in Suffield, Connecticut. Dr. Hallett has over 25 years of experience providing
psychotherapy, consultation, and supervision to medical and mental health professionals in addressing
relationship and major life issues with a specialty in complex trauma and dissociative disorders.
In addition to psychotherapy, Dr. Hallett provides Executive Coaching - the fast track to leadership, confidence
and work-life synergy. Her specialty is assisting driven professionals and entrepreneurs to become stress-smart
by harnessing the positive power of stress to increase resilience, productivity, and well-being.
She is the author of the international best-sellers Own Best Friend: Eight Steps to a Life of Purpose, Passion, and
Ease and BE AWESOME! Banish Burnout: Create Motivation from the Inside Out.
She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She has been the
Director of the Brightside Counseling Associates, Director of Children’s Services at Providence Behavioral Health
Hospital, Director of Mental Health Services at Osborn Correctional Institution and Director of Internship Training
for the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services at River Valley Services.
