Kate Woodward is the Global Head of Labor and Employment Law at GE Aerospace, leading a worldwide team on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including hiring, pay equity, separations, and employee relations. With more than twenty years of experience at GE Aerospace, GE, GE Healthcare, Hillshire Brands (formerly Sara Lee), and in private practice, she is known for balancing risk management with business realities and has led enterprise-wide initiatives on pay equity, transparency, respectful workplace programs, and COVID-19 workplace strategy. She holds a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
