Jim Crowe joined Edward Jones as a principal in 2018 to serve as its Head of Litigation. He later served as Head of the Regulatory Group in the Legal Division and currently serves as a Deputy General Counsel of the Firm with responsibility for the Corporate Law Group. With a robust background in litigation and federal prosecution, Jim has represented the firm and its financial advisors in matters involving the SEC, FINRA, state securities administrators and other regulators. He brings experience from both the public and private sectors, as a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, associate in the commercial litigation and white collar defense groups of a St. Louis-based international law firm and nearly a decade as a partner at a litigation boutique and white collar defense law firm in St. Louis. In his private practice, Jim led internal corporate investigations, represented individuals and companies in criminal and civil investigations and defended clients facing significant, complex, high-stakes civil litigation in state and federal courts.
