expertise, including risk engineering, she brings a broad perspective on corporate
governance, enterprise risk management, compliance, and strategic oversight
applicable across industries.
Ms. Garvey is a trusted advisor known for her sound judgment, independence, and
ability to translate complex legal and regulatory issues into clear, actionable guidance.
Her experience includes advising on fiduciary duties, regulatory compliance, crisis
management, disclosure obligations, and emerging risks, while strengthening
enterprise-wide governance, ethics, and compliance programs.
She has led legal and compliance organizations through periods of growth,
transformation, and heightened regulatory scrutiny, with particular expertise supporting
Audit, Risk, and Compliance Committees. She is also recognized for fostering cultures
of integrity and accountability and leveraging technology to enhance governance and
risk oversight.
In addition to her executive role, Ms. Garvey serves as a Board Member and mentor
with the Alliance for International Women’s Rights (AIWR.org), supporting the rule of
law and advancing human rights advocacy.
