Suzanne Law Marisa is the US General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of OVHcloud based in Reston, Virginia. OVHcloud is a global provider of cloud-based computing, storage, and disaster recovery services and a wholly-owned subsidiary of OVH Group, a French alternative cloud provider and the largest web hosting company in Europe.
Suzanne oversees the legal and compliance functions for OVHcloud. As OVHcloud’s first General Counsel, Suzanne has worked hard to build a high-quality legal department. Her focus is on creating, implementing and maintaining “best practices” processes and procedures to effectively manage legal risk and achieve company goals. Prior to joining OVHcloud, Suzanne provided legal counsel, business strategy and operational support to leading public and private companies and government contractors (e.g., Hughes Network Systems, Transurban) in a variety of in-house legal roles. She began her career as a transactional attorney in big law firm private practice (e.g., Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, Troutman Sanders) before choosing to move in-house.
Suzanne is a true world traveler and has a breadth of international experience gained by living and practicing law in Europe and the Middle East. She received a JD from American University and a BA from the University of Maryland. As a mom of four children, she volunteers her time and talents for a variety of activities and projects in which her children are engaged.
Along with the entire OVHcloud Executive Team, Suzanne was honored to receive a silver award for Top Management Team at the 2018 CEO World Awards. Business Leader Radio interviewed Suzanne on its national radio program’s General Counsel series, and she was recently featured in Vanguard Law Magazine.
