Hilary Ware is Associate General Counsel & Vice President of Litigation & Regulatory Affairs at Netflix. She has global responsibility for Netflix's litigation, regulatory compliance, privacy, data security, and labor and employment teams. She is also the co-chair of the Legal Diversity Committee. She has been recognized as a Woman Leader in Tech Law by the Recorder and received the Corporate Counsel Award from Bay Area Lawyers for Individual Freedom. She is also a frequent speaker on issues of diversity in the legal profession and work-life balance. She received her BA from Wellesley College and her JD/EdM from Harvard University and clerked in the Southern District of Florida before moving to California to practice law. She lives in San Francisco with her fiancee and their blended family of six kids.
