Social media has changed the speed and impact of crises which descend on organisations. It is now even more incumbent upon the response team to manage the internal and external stakeholders in the face of the confusion and negativity that is commonly associated with an occurrence – whilst also swiftly managing the crisis itself. A multi-disciplinary panel comprised of compliance and public relations experts will interactively work through a case study of an unfolding event and discuss the real-world strategies that they have found helped them to gain a foothold, develop a plan and effectively respond to a situation.
