Annmarie Carvalho
Founder TCC
Annmarie Carvalho is a former family solicitor turned therapist, trainer, keynote speaker and founder of TCC.
TCC is a multi-award-winning therapy, training and coaching agency which specialises in ‘helping lawyers stay sane’. She is known as ‘the lawyers’ therapist’.
Annmarie formerly worked as a family lawyer and mediator at Farrer & Co, one of the top London law firms, for over a decade before forming her ground-breaking agency.
The TCC motto is “because we’ve walked in your shoes”. Its team members include former lawyers turned therapists and coaches who understand the high-pressure world of law inside out.
TCC is a trusted partner to some of the world’s top law firms and professional services organisations, providing services including in-house therapy and interactive training on the psychology of legal practice. They also provide wellbeing audits and strategic advice to firms on how to deal with difficult situations impacting clients and colleagues.
Annmarie has won various awards for her work including most recently Best Innovation and the Supporting the Industry Award at the Modern Law Private Client Awards 2024.
Heather Stevens CBE
Co-Founder, The Waterloo Foundation
Heather Stevens studied Psychology at Wadham College, Oxford. She and her husband David were part of a small management team who set up the insurance company Admiral in Cardiff in 1992. The company is now worth over £7billion, and employs over 10,000 people worldwide.
In 2007 using their personal wealth, Heather and David set up The Waterloo Foundation, a grant-making trust which supports projects in children’s neurodevelopment, girls’ education overseas, water and sanitation projects and supports work protecting rainforests and the marine environment. The Foundation’s work in Wales focuses on young carers and getting people into work and out of poverty. It has now given over £150 million to various charities.
Heather was made a CBE in 2010 and served as the High Sheriff of South Glamorgan in 2015. She is an Honorary Fellow (2012) of the University and an Honorary Visiting Professor in the College of Biomedical and Life Sciences. In 2019 she was made a Pro Chancellor. Heather is also the Secretary of Global Fishing Watch, Chair of the Greenpeace Oceans board, and a former trustee of Oceana and the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
Cate Quentin
Wealth Manager, Tribe Impact Capital
Cate is a Partner and Wealth Manager at Tribe Impact Capital. Cate’s client base of HNW individuals, families and charitable foundations is varied, but she has a particular focus on female wealth holders and inherited wealth. Cate strongly believes in the transformative power of money to achieve both financial returns and positive impact.
Before joining Tribe, Cate spent seven years at Standard Bank Group where she managed the wealth of West African families and individuals and developed the Ghana wealth business from inception. Prior to Standard Bank, Cate worked in consultancy focussing on private sector development across Africa. Cate has an MSc in Development Studies from SOAS University and a PGCert in Philanthropy and Social Investment from Bayes Business School.
Lottie Leefe
Founder, The Dura Society
With over a decade of experience working with individuals in the wealth management, property and luxury industries, Lottie Leefe has developed a rather niche approach when it comes to managing women’s wealth.
Leefe founded The Dura Society in 2016 in order educate and inspire women on the financial, legal and emotional complexities that are attached to business and family life. This is done through talks, events, workshops, coaching and online and offline courses that all help women focus on the relationship between wealth and wellness.
Alongside The Dura Society, Leefe has established The Divorce Concierge, which is an independent consultancy that focuses solely on providing support and non-regulated advice for women who are navigating their finances during any stage of the divorce or separation process.
