Fatim is the Asia Head of the Employment & Workplace Investigations team and a Partner in the Singapore office of Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer. She helps clients achieve practical and commercial solutions to labour and employment issues across Asia with lawyers in her team on the ground across their office locations.

Fatim advises on all aspects of the employment life cycle. Her strength lies in the more complex and challenging areas of employment law, and she is often called upon to advise Boards and C-Suites as they grapple with new initiatives and ways of working. She had advised on a wide variety of workplace crises – from strikes, lockdowns and industrial action to fatalities at work, health and safety prosecutions and systemic sexual harassment and bullying complaints. She works with businesses to navigate the regulatory, employment and compliance risks whilst balancing the need to manage investigations in a commercially sensible fashion.

Fatim also contributes to the firm's thought leadership campaigns and most recently has been helping clients navigate changes to the Future of Work, thinking about AI, automation, employee activism and the rise of gig economy regulation.
