09:00 am - 10:40 am | Mastering Relationship Dynamics at Executive Level
Mastering relationship dynamics is key for a successful career and executive impact, yet this comes with no manual. The higher in the organisation we are and when there is a lot at stake, the trickier it gets. Getting it wrong comes at a cost; stress, self-doubt, and mistakes. In this interactive session, you will get a chance to reflect on your own experiences and hear stories of how executive women handled tough interpersonal dynamics; examples of when they got right, what went wrong and the lessons learnt along the way.
Alex Lazarus, Behaviour Change Scientist, Executive Coach, Facilitator and Change Agent
Beth Polish, Innovation Leader, Growth Strategist, Change Catalyst and Trusted Advisor
10:40 am - 10:55 am | Coffee Break
10:55 am - 11:50 am | Raw Authenticity - Controlling Your Narrative
Authenticity is often spoken about in terms of general leadership styles but the conversation needs to move beyond that to break down stereotypes. Each woman has her path, and the idea of the “superwoman” can be unhelpful for junior colleagues. Our speakers will explore what it means to be truly authentic and will discuss if raw honesty is beneficial.

11:50 am - 12:35 pm | Courageous Leadership and the Importance of Allies
What does it actually mean to be an ally? To be a true ally, leaders have to go above and beyond to put themselves on the line, which can at times mean giving up some of their privileges. Together our speakers will explore what it means to be a truly inclusive leader. They will share practical guidance on how to create an inclusive culture and will take questions from the floor on how to navigate the difficult situations that arise when instigating change.

12:35 pm - 1:20 pm | Leadership Mindset: A Year of Yes
Today, General Counsel can have a huge remit but how does your mindset affect how expansive your role can be? What would your year of yes look like? Confidence is such a key part of growing and developing as a leader. Yet, women can, at times, talk themselves out of opportunities (both personal and professional) as they want to tick every box before saying yes. They will share their tactical handbook on creating and delivering a plan for the legal function and will discuss how they stepped out of their comfort zone to propel their career.
