Molly Moran serves as Uber’s General Counsel for Europe, Middle East and Africa regions where she leads a team of diverse legal professionals with responsibility for the provision of legal advice to all of Uber’s business lines across a wide range of regulatory, corporate, product and commercial issues. She previously served as Associate General Counsel for US & Canada and provided legal support for Uber’s Canada and US Mobility businesses.

Prior to joining Uber, Molly served in several prominent positions at the U.S. Department of Justice, including Deputy Chief of Staff to Attorney General Eric Holder, Jr., leader of the Civil Rights Division, and the Principal Deputy Associate Attorney General responsible for supervising significant litigation for the Obama Administration. She later served as Acting General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Transportation. Molly started her legal career at Jenner & Block LLP in Chicago, Illinois and Washington, DC, as a litigation associate and then partner, where she focused on complex commercial litigation and internal investigations.

Molly resides in Amsterdam with her husband Mark.
