Bandman Advisors is a consulting and advisory practice focused on innovation and regulation in financial services, with special expertise in cryptoassets, FinTech and RegTech. Bandman Advisors was formed to bridge the gaps in business, technology and regulatory strategy. Its approach applies Jeff Bandman’s unique blend of market and regulatory experience to solve business challenges. Jeff is a Lecturer in Global Affairs at Yale, teaching cryptoassets and public policy in the Yale Jackson Institute for Global Affairs in Fall 2018. He is a co-founder of the Global Digital Finance initiative (GDF.io) to establish an industry-driven global code of conduct and taxonomy for cryptoassets, and serves on the GDF Advisory Council. He acts as FinTech regulation mentor for the Techstars Barclays FinTech Accelerator program. Jeff is a research fellow of the Blockchain for Algorithmic Regulation and Compliance (BARAC) initiative at University College London's Centre for Blockchain Technologies, and is a member of the RegTech Council. Prior to forming Bandman Advisors, Jeff served the CFTC in four senior leadership roles.
