Dr. Sarah Church is clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the addiction treatment field. Before founding Wholeview Wellness an innovative outpatient addiction treatment center in midtown Manhattan, she served for 16 years as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and for 12 years as the Executive Director of the Division of Substance Abuse at Montefiore Medical Center. She completed a predoctoral fellowship in addiction at the Yale University School of Medicine after graduating from Fordham University with a doctorate in clinical psychology and from Columbia University with an AB in psychology. She was appointed by Mayors Bloomberg and De Blasio to the NYC-DOHMH Community Services Board and serves on the Board of the Coalition of Medication Assisted Treatment Providers and Advocates (COMPA) and on the Clinical Advisory Panel for NYS OASAS and is currently the President Elect for the New York State Psychological Association’s (NYSPA) Executive Committee for the Division on Addictions. Internationally, she has provided consultation to the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for both Vietnam and Afghanistan as they develop medication assisted treatment centers in their countries.
