Tyrene Bada, MLS, CRM was born and raised in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area, where she currently works for the City of Beaverton as a Systems Analyst. She has been involved with several major system implementations, including the city-wide EDMS, the municipal court and city prosecution case management systems, and the city's new permitting system. As such, she has had the pleasure of working with both the city attorneys and the city's technical teams.
Tyrene's work history includes positions at several institutions of higher education, including Portland State University, University of California (San Diego), and at Portland Community College, where she single-handedly developed, created, established, implemented, and operated the records program for the college, including the college's first internal records center and archives.
Her enthusiasm for her profession has motivated her to volunteer hundreds of hours of her time to ARMA International at the local, regional, and international levels. Tyrene is honored to have been elected to be a member of the Board of Directors for ARMA International, where she continues to advocate for accountability and transparency to the ARMA membership.
