Kimberly Bell is the Director, Technology & Innovation for the General Counsels Organization at American Express. Her team leads the development and execution of technology strategy for Legal, as well as working collaboratively with leadership to drive efficiency, innovation and continuous business process improvement. Her foundational belief is that change management principles, consistently applied, are the keys to the successful implementation of a carefully designed technology strategy.

Kimberly has 25 years of experience leading legal operations functions within large companies and large law firms. She offers a unique understanding and perspective of the challenges that legal departments face having led Legal Operations at Nissan, in consulting for law department clients, and in large law firm management, before joining Amex.

She is an experienced team leader and has a track record of collaboration with legal teams to develop strategies to innovate the legal service delivery model, increasing value to the business, and improving client satisfaction and efficiency, including implementation of business process improvements, and technology on a large corporate law department scale.
