Julie Heller is Vice President, Knowledge Management & Information Governance in the AIG Office of the General Counsel’s Global Operations group. She focuses on developing and implementing strategy for KM and IG topics including information lifecycle management, content management, taxonomy development and classification, legacy data disposition, legal hold management, records retention and data preservation processes.   She joined AIG in 2012 and was responsible for building and leading the eDiscovery management program. Ms. Heller has more than 20 years of eDiscovery, legal technology
and legal project management experience.  She has previously worked at global service provider Epiq as well as AmLaw 100 firms Baker Hostetler LLP, Proskauer Rose LLP, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and White & Case LLP in a variety of eDiscovery project management and legal technology management roles.  She holds a B.A. from Yale University and an M.S. from Columbia University. Before embarking on a career in legal technology and operations, Julie worked as a clinical social worker providing therapy and supportive services to homeless and mentally ill patients in New York City.
