Beth Edwards is an experienced eDiscovery and healthcare attorney at Sutter Health, a large, integrated healthcare system, where she co-founded and built the organization’s corporate eDiscovery function. In this role, she advises on all aspects of eDiscovery strategy and execution, including preservation, collection, review, production, and defensible disposition of data across complex, highly regulated environments.
Her practice focuses on providing practical, risk-based guidance on eDiscovery, records and information management, and data retention, as well as collaborating with legal, compliance, IT, privacy, security, and business stakeholders on enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. She regularly supports litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters while helping the organization modernize and scale its information governance practices.
In addition to her eDiscovery and data governance work, she has extensive experience advising on a wide range of healthcare legal issues, including regulatory compliance, privacy, and operational risk. She is known for translating legal and regulatory requirements into actionable guidance and for building cross-functional partnerships that align legal strategy with organizational objectives.
