Henry Hagen is Associate Counsel at Moderna, where he has supported the Corporate Development team since 2020. He has led legal workstreams for major strategic initiatives, including Project Resilience, which established mRNA vaccine manufacturing capacity in the UK and Australia in partnership with the UK Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and the Australian Department of Health.

Henry now focuses on AI enablement at Moderna. He has played a central role in the company’s generative AI strategy, including negotiating Moderna’s collaboration with OpenAI, drafting Moderna’s AI Code of Conduct, and driving enterprise adoption of generative AI—particularly within the legal function.

He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and received the Paul R. Hayes Prize in Civil Procedure.
