Derek Morales is a Managing Director and In-House Counsel at Macquarie Capital, the investment and merchant banking division of the global financial services provider, Macquarie Group. Derek advises principal investment professionals on structuring and executing complex technology, infrastructure, renewables, and growth transactions in the U.S. and Latin America. He serves on Macquarie Group’s global legal technology committee and has led initiatives to evaluate, design, and implement generative AI solutions and enterprise legal management tools. Derek previously practiced public and private M&A at Jones Day.
