Ilona is widely recognised as a leader at the intersection of AI, law and innovation, with a track record of building and delivering transformative strategies that embed emerging technologies into the legal environment.

A lawyer by training, her early career focused on leveraged finance and technology transactions (with a focus on AI development and delivery). She has also led legal transformation initiatives to improve workflows and enhance client service through emerging technology.

Away from the office, Ilona serves as an advisor and board member to a range of startup and growth stage companies in the Legal AI space, alongside advisory board positions for industry conferences. Ilona is a frequent speaker at leading industry events and is an author across industry and broader publications. From 2018 through September 2025, Ilona was also a junior board member of The Legal Aid Society of New York City.
