Sam Sessler joined Norton Rose Fulbright in 2011 and serves as Director, Global eDiscovery Services, where he oversees the strategic direction, governance, and performance of the firm’s global eDiscovery service delivery. His responsibilities include oversight of eDiscovery operations, consulting services, digital collections, learning and development, discovery analytics, GenAI initiatives, and managed document review services, ensuring global consistency, defensibility, and alignment with the firm’s legal and business objectives across complex disputes, investigations, and regulatory matters.

With more than 18 years of consulting experience, including prior roles in PwC’s Forensic Technology and Cyber group, Sam brings deep expertise in electronic discovery, incident and breach response, information governance, the strategic use of technology‑assisted review (TAR), the application of GenAI technology and workflows, advanced analytics, and defensible collection strategies. Previously, as Assistant Director, Sam led the firm’s global eDiscovery consulting teams, advising lawyers and clients on discovery strategy, analytics‑driven workflows, and complex cross‑border eDiscovery challenges.

Sam supports clients and lawyers through evidence‑based approaches and strategic application of technology and resources that reduce discovery cost and complexity. The firm’s multidisciplinary eDiscovery teams combine defensible, repeatable processes with AI, the application of GenAI technology and workflows, and emerging technologies to deliver efficient, client‑driven outcomes across industries.
