Lily Li is the founder and president of Metaverse Law, a Chambers-ranked law firm that focuses exclusively on privacy, AI, and cybersecurity law for the digital economy. She advises global clients on the CCPA, GDPR, GLBA, NYDFS, EU AI Act, and NIST AI Framework. Lily assists companies with their AI risk assessments, data protection impact assessments, and supports her clients' overall governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) programs. In addition, Lily holds the GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) certification for advanced incident response and digital forensics and assists clients through the incident response and breach notification process.
She is a graduate of Duke Law School and holds multiple certifications in information privacy such as the FIP, CIPP/US/E/M. She is a regular contributor to OC Lawyer and American Bar Association publications, and has been a speaker at the Wall Street Journal Cybersecurity Symposium, California Lawyers Association, and PrivSec Global.
