Speaker Bio
Emily Collins is a lawyer who has been solving legal technology problems for over 18 years. Most recently, her practice has evolved to include providing advice and counsel on all aspects of Artificial Intelligence. Having worked as outside counsel, in-house counsel, and a consultant in the service provider space, Emily has a uniquely well-rounded view of the world of legal technology, enabling her to understand the perspectives of all stakeholders in a particular project or issue. Her professional passion is for solving the riddles and puzzles put forth daily by this rapidly evolving field and collaborating with in-house stakeholders and fellow practitioners to find the unique answer to each. Emily also enjoys speaking and writing about these war stories. She received her law degree from Indiana University's Maurer School of Law. Prior to that, she studied history, political science, and Russian language, graduating summa cum laude from Indiana University. In the few hours she can find for herself, Emily reads voraciously, practices Russian and piano, which always need more practice, and writes, mostly short fiction, though there is a novel waiting to be finished.
