Mike Gaudet is a Senior Managing Director in J.S. Held’s Global Investigations Practice, specializing in Digital Investigations & eDiscovery. He has more than 20 years of experience providing solutions for corporations, legal teams, and government agencies related to data discovery and governance challenges. He is an expert eDiscovery practitioner and AI thought leader, with a master’s in Computer Science. Mr. Gaudet has proficiency in leveraging the right tools to quickly gain insight from data and to efficiently achieve project goals on time and under budget. He has experience executing ad-hoc projects as well as designing and implementing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.

Mr. Gaudet has been responsible for delivering results across entire litigation dockets and large legal operations projects. He has delivered projects for General Counsel, CFOs, CIOs, CCOs, Data Privacy Officers, and their counsel. He has experience providing solutions tailored to the needs of various industries, including Energy, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, Construction, Finance, Retail, Automotive, and the Public Sector. He is a frequent speaker on eDiscovery, digital forensics, & AI topics including recent sessions at LegalWeek, UF Law E-Discovery, Masters Legal Conferences, the National eDiscovery Leadership Institute, the PLRB Innovation Summit and the Loss Executives Association Annual Conference.

Mr. Gaudet has significant experience leveraging cross-functional teams to tackle projects related to intellectual property theft, construction claims, environmental issues, due diligence/risk, healthcare matters, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and cross-border investigations. His focus is on utilizing AI to find relevant information in large data sets, saving his client time and costs.
