Veronica Hayes Gromada is a creative, innovative national litigation defense leader and strategist with Shook, Hardy, & Bacon, LLP in the Houston and Washington D.C. Veronica specializes in products, mass tort, and consumer liability litigation, while also supporting her clients with supply chain and other general business disputes. Before joining Shook as a partner in 2022, Veronica spent 17 years in-house with global retailer, Walmart. While at Walmart, Veronica managed one of the largest, and varied tort litigation portfolios in the nation and led one of Walmart's largest legal teams, while infusing technology into her daily practice.

Veronica’s practice spans across tech, retail, consumer, and industrial manufacturing industries, and includes consumer goods, food, technology, and services.
