Matt is chair of the firm’s AI Task Force as well serving as the vice-chair of Thompson Coburn’s Intellectual Property practice group and the firm’s Innovation Committee. He frequently presents about the implications of AI use in the legal industry. He hosts monthly discussions for the firm’s attorneys and has developed guidance and best practices for the firm regarding the use of AI. Matt litigates all forms of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets. He also focuses on brand protection and anti-counterfeiting efforts. Matt is a registered patent attorney and practices before various federal courts and patent-related boards such as the Federal District Courts, Federal Appeals Courts, International Trade Commission, the Patent and Trademark Office, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States.
