Nick has been a partner at international law firm Norton Rose Fulbright for over twenty years in global technology and innovation leadership roles. He co-created the world’s first AI-enabled privacy chatbot, Parker, and won the Financial Times newspaper’s Asia Innovator or the Year Award. He is an Adjunct Professor at Bond University where he researches the practical uses of AI in the law and teaches the Breakthrough Lawyer online short courses, including the globally successful GenAI Productivity Training for Lawyers. He is also a contributing expert on Berkeley Law School's GenAI for the Legal Profession course.
He is a successful legaltech entrepreneur. As a Co-founder of Lawpath, he has helped reshape the legal industry, using AI and an innovative subscription model to enhance efficiency and significantly reduce the cost of legal services. Lawpath now has over 500,000 customers and, in February 2025, a major bank invested $10,000,000 into the company. LegalZoom is also an investor in Lawpath.
