Carla Rydholm leads Lex Machina's mission to bring legal analytics to all areas of the law. As General Manager and Head of Product, she spearheads an integrated team of legal experts, product managers, and engineers in developing innovative legal technology that empowers data-driven decision-making for legal professionals.

With experience at the intersection of law and technology, Carla previously practiced public interest law with non-profit advocacy organizations and contributed to academic policy projects focused on law and science integration. Her unique background combines legal expertise with scientific rigor, informing her approach to legal tech innovation.

Carla holds a J.D. from Duke University Law School, a Ph.D. in Genetics & Genomics from Duke University, and a B.Sc. from the University of British Columbia.
