Veronica has extensive experience representing and supporting clients regarding legal issues in the connected data use, information governance, and privacy space. She has supported clients as a litigation associate, a consultant, and as in-house counsel. Veronica’s practice as an associate primarily focused on representing financial institutions, healthcare systems, and consumer product manufacturers in civil disputes. As a consultant, she developed solutions for the legal obligations related to the management of data, including collaborating with legal and technical teams to develop playbooks and strategies for responding to litigation and compliance requirements. As in house counsel at JP Morgan Chase, Veronica has implemented discovery strategies and best practices for responding to enforcement matters and internal investigations. Additionally, in her current role as Vice President, Consumer Data Use at JP Morgan Chase, she collaborates with teams from multiple lines of business to review data use and access initiatives by evaluating the legal and governance implications of the initiatives. She continues to build her knowledge and skill set by teaching courses and developing content for industry programs and events. Veronica attended Northwestern University and Howard University School of Law.
