María is a lawyer with over fifteen years of experience in various positions within the Repsol legal services, currently serving as the Head of NewLaw & Digital area. In her current role, she is responsible for advising the entire company on Digital Law matters, as well as implementing digital tools, managing legal knowledge, and overseeing innovation and legal transformation projects. Through her area, she promotes the hybrid profile of Repsol's lawyers.

María has coordinated the implementation of the Protea Project for the transformation of Repsol's legal division, whose results have positioned Repsol's legal team at the forefront of corporate legal transformation. Within this project, she has led the digital transformation by implementing a unique legal services management platform using MS365 technology, as well as integrating artificial intelligence tools, notably the implementation of the Harvey AI platform with legal fine-tuning.

Additionally, in recent months, María has participated in various forums and events on legal transformation and regulation in the digital realm, such as Forbes Talks "Women Beyond with Forbes," Repsol Innovative Legal Minds, "Main Challenges and Solutions of Legal Technology" by GLTH, "Reflections on AI Governance" by Écija and ICAM, among others. María is part of the CLOC Spain chapter and is also a member of the Global Legal Tech Hub.
