Luca Citton is the chair of the board of directors at Meritas, the premier global network of 172 independent business law firms in 244 markets in 92 countries. He represents more than 8,800 lawyers from around the world, providing governance and representing the brand internationally. Luca’s global leadership within Meritas includes serving on its Board of Directors, Quality Assurance Committee, Member Engagement Committee, Strategic Plan Taskforce, Board Nominating Committee, Global Firm Management Forum, and the Canadian Management Committee.

Luca is also president of Boughton Law in Vancouver and is a member of the firm’s board of directors. He also oversees the firm’s Business Law Practice Group, focusing primarily on corporate and commercial law, Luca supports his clients in the structuring, sale, and continuing operations of their businesses. In addition to corporate and commercial law, Luca maintains an ancillary practice in IP law and is a registered Canadian Trademark Agent.

Throughout his career, Luca has been committed to giving back to the community where he lives and works. Serving on several committees and boards, his efforts have supported meaningful civic, social, and charitable initiatives throughout Greater Vancouver. He developed and currently chairs Boughton Law’s Community Action Committee, a firm-wide initiative that pairs Boughton lawyers with organizations in need of volunteer legal expertise.
