Speaker Bio
Jeff is a Principal in KPMG’s US Legal Operations Transformation Services practice. In this role, he focuses on bringing solutions to law departments and law firms that drive workflow efficiencies, cost savings, and technology enablement, and helps clients leverage business intelligence to make better data-driven decisions.

A litigator turned legal operations professional, Jeff brings over 15 years of industry experience representing and working with a variety of organizations, including the Fortune 500 companies, startups, and non-profits. He has worked with General Counsels and Legal Operations Leaders to develop outside counsel management programs that have reduced legal spend by over 30%, including an initiative that was recognized as an Association of Corporate Counsel Value Champion. Jeff has also collaborated with corporate legal, IT, and procurement teams to select and implement a variety of technologies, including contract management, document management, and eBilling/matter management systems. He has also helped design and implement a contracts center of excellence for a multinational organization. These initiatives have streamlined workflows, right-sized internal and external resource allocations, and harnessed the power of data to demonstrate the law department’s value to the business.

Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), Jeff serves as a Board Member of the Asian American Bar Association of New York, an Officer for the Don H. Liu Scholars Program, and a Mentor for the TGR Foundation. Leveraging his DEI experience, he has been working with law departments on ways to apply technology and process to address diversity and inclusion issues and initiatives.

Prior to joining KPMG, Jeff was Managing Director at Epiq, where he helped lead the Legal Transformation Services group. He started his legal career at two international law firms as a commercial litigator and employment attorney.
