The recent disclosure in of critical vulnerabilities in Apache’s log4j software triggered a race between attackers trying to exploit the flaws, defenders trying to patch them and regulators laying the groundwork to penalize organizations for weak responses. This presentation will review the timeline of the log4j events: Were they an anomaly or do they represent the new normal?
