Marsha Stein has been the Chief Information Officer of Ropes & Gray for the past 14 years. Prior to that she was the Director of IT at Fish & Neave, and before that spent ten years at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison as assistant librarian, records manager and computer support manager. Having held a variety of positions in law firms informs Marsha's broad vision and unique understanding of the information needs of both lawyers and staff. As CIO, Marsha is responsible for all IT, Telecom, Records, Library, Knowledge Management as well as secretaries and paralegals. She has focused the firm's IS function on Knowledge Management; expanded the deployment of library services to support the firm's business development efforts; and aligned IT projects with firm initiatives. Marsha has a master's degree in Library Science from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree from Brooklyn College.
