Wisdom advises on all issues concerning private wealth matters, with particular focus on trusts, foundations, family governance, wills, probate, estate administration and mental capacity. She has experience in advising on trusts settled in various major offshore jurisdictions.

Wisdom's valuable onshore legal experience allows her to advise wealthy families on cross-border estate issues and how offshore and onshore estate plans can complement each other. She holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in Cross-Border Estates with Distinction. With experience of advising individuals whose nationality, residency and domicile are in different jurisdictions, Wisdom is in a strong position to tackle the often-overlooked private international law issues.

Wisdom also advises professional trustees on the creation, restructuring and termination of all types of trusts and foundations and other private wealth planning structures.

Wisdom joined Ogier in October 2017 from the private wealth and trusts department of another leading offshore law firm.

She is one of the few offshore private client lawyers with Chinese and Western perspectives. Wisdom speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. Being trilingual means that she is well-placed to advise Asian families with cross-border estates.

Wisdom studied Quantitative Finance and Mathematics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong before obtaining her law degree from the BPP Law School in London and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws with Distinction from The University of Hong Kong.

Wisdom is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and completed the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management with Distinction.
