Josie is a freelance journalist, editor and commentator. She started her career at Reuters in Germany and Switzerland where she reported on stock markets and corporate finance before she joined The Wall Street Journal as a European correspondent in London. Between January 2017 and January 2019 she was business editor of The Independent. More recently her work has appeared in The Guardian, the New Statesman, Fortune, The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, Quartz and Huffington Post. She is a regular guest on the BBC and has guest lectured at the University of Cambridge.
