Amanda Pinto, QC, 33 Chancery Lane serves as the Vice Chair of the Bar Council of England and Wales (Chair in 2020), having served as Chair of the International Committee for four years. She specialises in fraud, corporate crime, money laundering, corruption, art crime and business wrong-doing. She is the co-author of Pinto and Evans on ‘Corporate Criminal Liability’ and annually write the corporate crime section for Blackstone’s Criminal Practice. Amanda was appointed a part-time Crown Court Judge in 2003, QC in 2006 and Bencher of Middle Temple in 2014. She is a Champion of the First 100 Years project, celebrating 100 years of women being admitted to the legal professions in the UK.
