Edwin Peel, Professor of Contract, Oxford University Law Faculty has a particular expertise in contract law and private international law. His practice covers a broad range of commercial work, mainly in arbitration either sitting as an arbitrator or assisting as counsel. He also regularly advises on or appears in some of the leading cases in litigation. Ed is also the author of Treitel on the Law of Contract and Halsbury’s Laws of England, vol. 22 (Contract), and the editor of a number of other books. He regularly appears in foreign proceedings as an expert witness on English law.
