Ed Lai is Senior Counsel in Chevron’s Digital Contracts Law Group with a focus on cloud and SaaS transactions. He also is helping to lead the company on its digital contracting journey with the global deployment of new contract analytic tools. He has spent 18 years working for Chevron. He earned his JD from Georgetown Law and an MBA from University of California Berkeley HAAS School of Business. Prior to working at Chevron he practiced Corporate Securities law at the law firm Cooley in Palo Alto California, where his primary clients were technology companies and venture capital investors.
