Over the course of my 30+ year career, I’ve worked for law firms and in-house at
companies such as Research In Motion (aka BlackBerry) and Kik. In October 2019, I
joined Carta.

Since joining Carta, the most rewarding part has been moving the legal team to use
tools for efficiency.

My approach to efficiency is largely inspired by my desire to see my co-workers have a
better work-life balance. This is reflected in my determination to use tools in a way that
impacts the day-to-day function of the organization by reducing redundancy and
duplication of efforts.
