The United States may lack a comprehensive, federal data privacy and data protection law, but that doesn’t mean organizations are not subject to an alphabet soup of substantial domestic and international requirements, including—but certainly not limited to—those from BIPA, the CCPA, the CPRA, the DPA, the FTC, and the GDPR.
