Scott A. Milner is a Chambers-ranked litigator and legal entrepreneur with over two decades of experience at the intersection of law, technology, and design. Scott is the global practice leader of Morgan Lewis's eData practice, a data-driven practice transforming the delivery of legal services– disputes and transactional. Scott has developed industry-leading best practices and strategies for information governance, litigation readiness, and discovery. Scott counsels global companies across several industries on all aspects of eDiscovery including advising clients on drafting, implementing and roll out of AI policies, and cutting-edge use of AI to solve legal and business challenges. Beyond litigation, Scott has developed workflows and processes to tackle transactional challenges to solve legal and business data issues through innovative deployment of process, technology, and people.

A recognized thought leader in the field, Scott frequently speaks and writes on topics such as AI, legal data intelligence (LDI), and innovation. Scott is a founding member of LDI and has been recognized as an AI Visionary, Legal Technology Trailblazer, and finalist for both Attorney Tech Evangelist and Innovator of the Year. Scott and the practice groups work has also garnered numerous awards, including Legalweek's Leaders in Tech Law Awards for Tech-Enabled Litigation Department of the Year (2022), E-Discovery Technology and Innovation (2024), and Litigation Technology and Innovation (2025) and Financial Times Innovative Leaders North America in the Innovation of Digital Tools (2025) while Scott was a finalist for Innovator of the Year in the law firm category (2025).

Scott received his J.D., cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Florida.
