Emily Fedeles is Chief Data Privacy Counsel for Colgate-Palmolive, where she is responsible for the company's Global Data Privacy Compliance Program. She provides advice and counsel on all data privacy and security issues as they relate to employees, vendors, and consumers, and ensures compliance with all applicable data privacy and security laws. Prior to joining Colgate, Emily worked in the New York City; Geneva, Switzerland; and Tampa, Florida offices of two major law firms, where her practice focused on the areas of electronic discovery and discovery management processes, data privacy and security, information governance, and products liability litigation. She holds CIPP/E credentials and is a graduate of Emory Law School. Emily is an active member of The Sedona Conference Working Groups 1, 6, and 11, and regularly writes and speaks on a variety of data and privacy related topics, including on legal issues surrounding emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain.
