Edward Lin is the Director of Crowell & Moring's Practice Technology Group. Edward has over eighteen years of e-discovery and data governance experience from high stakes litigation, government investigations and internal investigations. He has led forensic engagements and advised general counsel and litigators on strategic and legal preservation efforts, data acquisition, culling, strategic extraction, processing, review, technology assisted review and production. Ed assists in FRCP 26(f) meet and confer negotiations, cost analysis and technology selection. Ed is a trained attorney and a technical expert, and has leveraged his legal and technical expertise in electronic discovery and data governance to provide highly valuable advice at critical junctures in investigations and litigations. Additionally, Ed is often engaged by other firms to assist in their clients’ e-discovery needs at request of the general counsel. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University’s Continuing Education in e-Discovery and Project Management.
