Melanie Prevost is the Director of IT Infrastructure and Technical Support Services at Vinson & Elkins LLP, a global 100 Firm. She is responsible for the management of Information Technology Infrastructure across all V&E office locations, ensuring continuity of infrastructure throughout the enterprise. This includes Datacenters, Systems, Networks, Telecommunications, Global Media Services and Technical Systems Support. She joined Vinson & Elkins in 1995 and has held various technology leadership roles during her tenure, first as a Systems Administration Supervisor, Systems Operations and Networks Manager and was promoted to Director of Infrastructure and Technical Support Services in 2016. Melanie has led technology teams to build systems and networking infrastructure, conference center technology, data centers and coordinate technology initiatives for office construction projects in locations throughout the world.

She is an active member of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), currently serving as a member of the ILTA Women Who Lead (WWL) Advisory Group and also as a member of the ILTA Relationship Coordinating Team (RCT).

Melanie started her career as an IT Trainer at Lamar University Beaumont and was promoted to User Services Manager. While at Lamar, she started and eventually earned a BAAS Degree, concentrating in Business and Computer Science.
